Giving

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- Matthew 6:21

Why we give:

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the Gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways To Give

Give In Person

Giving at Church is always welcome. The offering plate is placed on a table near the entrance to the Nave. This is carried forward in the Service during the Offeratory

Electronic Funds Transfer

If would like to give electronically, contact John Feldt via phone (see church directory) or e-mail to set up electronic funds transfer (EFT) giving. This is the same as setting up an automatic debit for monthly bills. You can have payments withdrawn electronically from checking or savings and at the interval of your choosing. You may also designate multiple subcategories, such as building fund. There is no fee to you or to the church. This is also supported by Vanco. To make additional changes after it is set up, you must contact John Feldt or Paul Buelow.

Mail A Check

Mail your offering to 1100 Market Street, Carlisle, IA 50047. Please do not send cash through the mail.

Give Online via Vanco

Give+ is being retired by Vanco on October 1st and is being replaced with Vanco Mobile.
Download the Vanco Mobile app on your phone and tablet (iOS App Store, Google Play Store). Follow the instructions and you control the amounts and the frequency of giving, including just a one-time offering. You can even designate categories, such as building fund. If a category you need is not listed, contact John Feldt via phone or at treasurer@holycrosscarlisle.org to have it added. There is no fee to you or to the church. This is supported by Vanco, the organization that handles several members’ electronic giving. Additional details for this will be provided in a future communication.  In addition, you can give via Vanco online.
