SERVING FELLOWSHIP NEXT WEEK: W. Johnson & K. Feldt

FREE ORGAN CONCERT: Tomorrow, Oct 6th, the Central Iowa Association Guild of Organists will host a free concert at Central Presbyterial Church in Des Moines at 7pm. Organist Paul Fey will play pieces by Back, Kuhnau, Mendelssohn, and some of his own works. See the poster for more details.
REFORMATION VESPERS: The churches of the East and West Des Moines Circuits are invited to Trinity for a celebration of the Reformation on Sunday, October 26th! The service will begin at 4p.m. and will feature sacred choral music and our guest preacher, the Rev. Christopher Maronde, who serves on the Board of Regents for Luther Classical College in Casper, Wyoming. Stay afterwards for a soup potluck meal and a presentation from Pastor Maronde on classical Lutheran Education. The evening's offering will go to benefit Luther Classical College. Please call Trinity's office (515-279-3609) if you would like to bring food to share or sing in the choir. We look forward to celebrating the Reformation together!
MEN’S OUTING: The men of Holy Cross will have a get-together on October 17th and 18th that will include food and fellowship, with optional camping overnight and time at the range in the morning. Speak to Lance Nath or Jim Skinner if you are interested in attending.
EQUIPPING THE PRIESTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS: Issues, Etc. is a radio talk show and podcast produced by Lutheran Public Radio in Collinsville, IL and hosted by LCMS Pastor Todd Wilken. Recent topics include: The Fruit of the Holy Spirit, Critical Race Theory, Gen Z Rediscovering the Christian Faith, Did Martin Luther Invent the Doctrine of Justification? and more.
