SPECIAL VOTERS MEETING: Today there will be a special voters’ meeting to vote on bids for the parking lot and other items.
SOUP SUPPER: Advent Soup Supper is approaching! December 3rd, 5:30 p.m. Bring your favorite soup or side dish. There is a signup sheet in the narthex.
DECORATING: Upon entering Advent, there will be lots of opportunities to help decorate around church. Today and next Sunday, Jeremiah is working on the nativity barn. Let him know if you can help. If you can help with the Advent wreath in the sanctuary, contact Cal or Mark. If you want to help decorate the narthex, education wing, or fellowship hall, contact Cheryl Dee.
LADIES’ GUILD: Join the ladies on Saturday, December 3rd, starting at 9:30am as we make ornaments to hand out at Light Up Carlisle.
2026 DIRECTORY: NEXT SUNDAY, November 30th, will be the LAST DAY to correct your contact information for the 2026 directory. Please look for the directory to confirm/edit your contact information.
2026 VOLUNTEER SIGN UP
Ladies – if you are able, please sign up for 4 Sundays to serve Fellowship and one month to serve Altar Guild.
Men / High School Boys – please sign up to Usher.
Volunteers also needed for: greeting, streaming, and driving.
Sign up sheets are located in the narthex and will be available UNTIL DEC 7th.
SNOW REMOVAL: With Winter almost upon us, if you would like to help clear church sidewalks and steps of snow, get ahold of either Cal Lundberg or Mark Selby. -Thanks, The Board of Properties
BACKUP DRIVER NEEDED: Katie usually picks up Randy to bring him to church on Sunday mornings. However, we need a backup driver for Randy in case Katie is unable to safely make the long drive in bad weather. Randy lives at the Carlisle care center. Let Katie Eubanks or Allison Doying know if you can help!
THE FAITH ONCE FOR ALL DELIVERED TO THE SAINTS: Issues, Etc. is a radio talk show and podcast produced by Lutheran Public Radio in Collinsville, IL and hosted by LCMS Pastor Todd Wilken. Recent topics include: The Hymnal as Devotional Resource, Why Christians Should Build Cathedrals, Late First-Century Bishop Clement of Rome, The Third Use of God’s Law, and more.
