ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK:
June 7 – 9:30am Ladies’ Guild

LADIES’ GUILD: All ladies young and old - join us this Saturday for fun and fellowship! Following 9:30 devotions, we will be beautifying the church grounds by planting flowers. Wear gardening clothes. And bring a snack to share.

NEW ADDRESS: Former Holy Cross member, Lynn Girton, has a new address. See Waneta Johnson or Allison Doying if you would like it.

LOST & FOUND: Please take a look at the items on the lost & found table in the narthex. Any items not claimed by June 22nd will be donated or disposed.

ALTAR FLOWERS: The Altar Guild would like to put out fresh flower arrangements for special feast days in the church.  The next feast day is Pentecost on Sunday, June 8.  Please sign up to donate funds for flowers on this date. The signup sheet is in the narthex.

HELP WANTED: Mark Selby and the properties team could use help with the summer mowing of the church lawn. Contact him if you can help.

LCMS HEARTLAND SINGLES: Join us June 13-15, at Camp Omega in Waterville, MN, for a weekend of indoor and outdoor recreation, Bible studies, and worship. Form friendships with other Midwestern singles, build each other up in the faith, and potentially meet a spouse. Open to ages 21-41. $100 per person for two nights of lodging and four meals. ACELC CONFERENCE: The Association of Confessing Evangelical Lutheran Congregations invites you to join us for our 2025 conference on July 15th-16th at Holy Cross in Carlisle, IA. The theme this year is “A Noble Task: Pastoral Formation in the LCMS”. For more information, and to register, go to the conference tab on our website, acelc.net.

TE DEUM HYMN FESTIVAL: will be held Sunday, July 27th at 3 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. The event will feature performances by the Rev. Alex Post, and our own organists James Ikenberry and Jeremiah Bolin. Also, Kathryn Feldt will direct the festival's choir. Refreshments will be served! If you're interested in joining the Festival Choir, please contact Kathryn at acapellalto@gmail.com for more information. Instrumentalists should contact James at james.ikenberry@outlook.com.
