CALENDAR CORRECTION: Please make the following update to your calendars: There will be NO Bible study, Vespers, or Table Talk on Wednesday the 28th, and NO Ascension service or Confessions Study on Thursday the 29th.
PASTOR’S VACATION: Pastor Johnson will be on vacation beginning the afternoon of Sunday, May 11 through Friday, May 30th. Pastor Siegel will be leading Sunday services. You may still contact Pastor Johnson for urgent pastoral needs.
CONTRACT RUMMY ANYONE? We have Fellowship this coming Friday beginning at 6 p.m. Enjoy an exciting game of Contract Rummy. Bring a snack or two to share with the group.

ALTAR FLOWERS: The Altar Guild would like to put out fresh flower arrangements for special feast days in the church. The next feast day is Pentecost on Sunday, June 8. Please sign up to donate funds for flowers on this date. The signup sheet is in the narthex.
HELP WANTED: Mark Selby and the properties team could use help with the summer mowing of the church lawn. Contact him at 515-229-5248 if you can help.
LCMS HEARTLAND SINGLES: Join us June 13-15, at Camp Omega in Waterville, MN, for a weekend of indoor and outdoor recreation, Bible studies, and worship. Form friendships with other Midwestern singles, build each other up in the faith, and potentially meet a spouse. Open to ages 21-41. $100 per person for two nights of lodging and four meals. COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS: Iowa District West is blessed to be able to offer church worker scholarships to students entering church work at one of our Synod’s Concordia Universities or Seminaries. Last year the district awarded over $300,000 in scholarships. Rev. Joe Pierson is our Financial Aid Director for scholarships and he serves as the pastor at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Webster City. You may email him at revpierson@gmail.com. There is an application process that can be found on our district website under resources and forms and links (www.Iowadistrictwest.org). Applications are due June 1.
