CONFESSION: Individual Confession and Absolution will be offered at various times throughout Advent. Opportunities include:

Dec 20, 10-11am & 3-4pm
ADVENT RECEPTION: Following the Advent service on Wednesday, there will be a reception with treats and music. If you are able to bring treats, please sign up at the following link, or let Cheryl know.
MUSICIANS: If you are planning on sharing your musical talents during the reception this Wednesday, please fill out this form.
CONTRACT RUMMY ANYONE? We have Fellowship this coming Friday beginning at 6 p.m. Enjoy an exciting game of Contract Rummy. Bring a snack or two to share with the group.

END ABORTION CONFERENCE: End Abortion Iowa is a 501c organization composed of Bible-believing Christians from various Protestant denominations across the state of Iowa. Their goal is to obtain equal protection for the unborn through the total abolition and criminalization of abortion in our state. End Abortion Iowa is hosting a conference on Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st. Register at: www.endabortioniowa.com.
CHRIST ACADEMY: Information on Christ Academy at Ft. Wayne for 2026/2027 is available at ctsfw.edu/about/events/christ-academy/. There are opportunities for high school boys or girls to visit for 2 weeks, confirmation retreats, weekends for college students, and even a family institute.
ANSWERING ARGUMENTS AGAINST CHRISTIANITY: The Christian God is Misogynistic, The Meaning of Life Is Found in Using Technology, We Don’t Need the Christian God to Be Good. Issues, Etc. is a radio talk show and podcast produced by Lutheran Public Radio in Collinsville, IL and hosted by LCMS Pastor Todd Wilken. You can listen to responses to common objections to Christianity at issuesetc.org.
