January 23rd Announcements

YOUTH RETREAT:  Many thanks to everyone who donated food or provided financial support for the youth retreat this past weekend!
HIGHER THINGS REGISTRATIONS: Youth who have been confirmed are encouraged to attend the Higher Things Conference, For You, this summer. Our group will most likely attend the event at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN, July 26-29 (Alternate dates: July 19-22, Montana). Early Bird registration ends January 31. The total is $435 and youth are responsible for $100 payable at time of registration. The cost jumps to $460 ($150) beginning February 1.
CHILI COOK-OFF & YOUTH CONCERT:  Holy Cross Lutheran Youth invite you to attend a Chili Cook-off on Sunday, February 13th immediately following Sunday School. If you would like to enter a chili into the cook-off competition, please register via our website (click here). In addition to a delicious meal, the youth will present a concert focused on music that celebrates the Sacraments. The concert follows the meal (1:30-2:30 pm). HOLY CROSS APP:  Don’t forget to download the Holy Cross App onto your phone.  You can find the app at the Apple or Android store.  Just search for Holy Cross Lutheran and Carlisle. Questions…contact Kathryn Feldt.
GIVEAWAY TABLE:  The storage areas around the church were recently cleaned out. Anything on the table outside of the fellowship hall is free to a good home.
