CHRISTMAS CAROLING TODAY: Join us for Christmas caroling today following Adult Bible Study. A light lunch will be served before we head out to carol to several of our members. Everyone is welcome!
OFFERING ENVELOPES: for 2025 are available to pick up. They are located on a table by the bulletin boards in the narthex. If you do not see your name, but would like envelopes, please see John Feldt or Daniel Rees.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! WE NEED USHERS to help the service run smoothly. If you are an adult male of the congregation, please consider serving, even just a couple Sundays a year. We NEED A DRIVER for Tom & Lin on the first week of the month. We also are LOOKING FOR A GREETER (or family of greeters) for the 3rd Sunday of the month. If you can fill any of these roles, please let the secretary, Allison Doying, know as soon as possible so that the 2025 Volunteer schedule can be published. Thank you!
VOTERS MEETING: The first of our semi-annual voters meetings for 2025 is coming up on January 26th.
YOU’RE INVITED: Former member, Joshua Killion, is graduating with a Master of Divinity from Walther Theological Seminary on February 22, 2025. See the invitation on the bulletin board for more details.
PORTALS OF PRAYER: The January-March edition is now available. Grab yours from the table at the back of the sanctuary.
IOWA LUTHERAN SCHOOL TUITION ORGANIZATION: Students in our Lutheran schools need your help! While helping families, you get some help with your state taxes! The ILSTO is at 35% of its $1,065,000 goal as of Dec. 1. You have until the end of the year – Dec. 31 – to mail your gift. How can you help? A donation of cash, stock, or even grain, but giving is not limited to Lutherans. If you know someone who could benefit from a 75% tax credit, please give them a donor form. Remember the financial benefit to a contributor is a 75% tax credit on Iowa income taxes (which can be carried over for five years) and also a 25% charitable contribution on your federal form.
