PRINTED CALENDAR & VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE: Since these are now available online, we are not putting a printed copy in every mailbox. The printed copies are available by the mailboxes & on a table in the narthex.
FOOD PANTRY: On Saturday, April 30, the Carlisle Area Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will be collecting items from the local residents for the Food Pantry for their annual Spring collection. They will meet at the church parking lot at 1:30pm to organize. In the days to follow I will appreciate help in sorting, dating, and boxing up the donations; I will keep everyone posted on the days and times we will be working to accomplish this. Thanks to everyone who has helped in the past and can help again. -- Waneta Johnson, Holy Cross Food Pantry Coordinator
HOMESCHOOLING CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOP: Saturday, May 14th from 9am to 4pm, Holy Cross will be hosting “Lutheran Homeschooling: “What Does This Mean?” This is an event for those interested in homeschooling from a Lutheran perspective but are not sure where to begin. More information to come – mark your calendars!
