UPCOMING MEETINGS:
Aug 25 (Today) – Special Voters Meeting regarding insurance and membership transfers; only a few minutes at the beginning of Bible Study
Sept 1 – Parking Lot Committee Presentation – Informational only. No Voting; during the last few minutes of Bible Study
Sept 8 – Contractor Q&A – No Voting
Sept 15 - Contractor Q&A – No Voting
Sept 22 – Regular Voters Meeting; during Bible study hour

CONFIRMATION CLASSES BEGIN: Confirmation starts on September 4th, at 6:30 with Vespers and a parent meeting.
 
THANK YOU: Jennifer Brown, Lynn’s daughter says “THANK YOU!  What a beautiful send-off for Mom!” You can read the rest of the letter she wrote to our congregation on the bulletin board under “Notices.” There are also a few copies of her letter available on the table in the narthex. Lynn’s cell number remains the same.

COLLECTING PHOTOS: The Ladies’ Guild is collecting photos from Pastor Johnson’s 20 years at Holy Cross. If you have photos you would like to share (e.g. weddings, baptisms, special events), you can email a digital copy to katie.eubanks@reagan.com. If you have printed copies, you can leave them in the Office Secretary mailbox in an envelope with your name on it. Allison will scan them and get them back to you.

PHOTO DIRECTORY: The Board of Stewardship is collecting family pictures of Holy Cross members to create an updated photo directory. Please help us by:

• Submitting a digital image of your family to officesecretary@holycrosscarlisle.org that is less than 6 months old
• OR have a member of stewardship board take a photo of your family after any church service. Beginning August 11th, we will be taking pictures after church services in the Narthex near the Luther’s seal wood carving.

These photos are to help members put names and faces together. They can be casual snapshots. They do not need to be professional. They should be “head shots” that focus on your face (shoulders up).
