CONFIRMATION CLASSES BEGIN: Confirmation starts on September 4th, at 6:30 with Vespers and a parent meeting.
DIRECTORY UPDATES: There is a new sheet out with directory updates. Grab one to put in your directory. It includes Lynn Girton's new address in New York.
SERVICE PROJECT THIS SATURDAY: We are looking for volunteers to work at the Lutheran Institute for Regenerative Agriculture (Shenandoah, Iowa) this Saturday, September 7th, to help prepare the girls' dorms. There are many small tasks and a few larger projects to work on. The list of projects is posted in the narthex. See Kathryn Feldt for Details. (We plan to work from around 10 am to 4 pm.)
DO YOU PLAY PIANO? Choir is looking for someone with Piano skills to assist during rehearsals. They would play parts to help the singers to learn new music. Contact Kathryn Feldt for details.
THANK YOU: Jennifer Brown, Lynn's daughter says THANK YOU! What a beautiful send-off for Mom! You can read the rest of the letter she wrote to our congregation on the bulletin board under "Notices." There are also a few copies of her letter available on the table in the narthex. Lynn's cell number remains the same.
FACEBOOK PAGE: The private Facebook page for Holy Cross has been archived. The public Facebook page is still functioning for posting of recordings or other public announcements. For the most up to date information specific to members, use our app! - Tech Team
COLLECTING PHOTOS: The Ladies' Guild is collecting photos from Pastor Johnson's 20 years at Holy Cross. If you have photos you would like to share (e.g. weddings, baptisms, special events), you can email a digital copy to Katie Eubanks. If you have printed copies, you can leave them in the Office Secretary mailbox in an envelope with your name on it. Allison will scan them and get them back to you.

- OR have a member of stewardship board take a photo of your family after any church service. Beginning August 11th, we will be taking pictures after church services in the Narthex near the Luther's seal wood carving.
